Deathly Hallows Official Trailer

“For instance, this new idea that You-Know-Who can kill with a single glance from his eyes. That’s a basilisk, listeners. One simple test: Check whether the thing that’s glaring at you has got legs. If it has, it’s safe to look into its eyes, although if it really is You-Know-Who, that’s still likely to be the last thing you ever do.”

Magical Places

Zonko's Joke Shop

Zonko's Joke Shop was a favourite place for Hogwarts students to shop on Hogsmeade trips. As it carried "jokes and tricks to fulfil even Fred and George Weasley's wildest dreams." Such products were Dungbombs, Hiccough Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, Sugar Quills and Nose-Biting Teacups.

Ollivander's Wand Shop

Ollivander's Wand Shop is a wand shop. It is owned by the Ollivander family and it was run by Mr. Ollivander. Ollivander's is known to be one of the finest wand shops in all of Europe. The main shop is located at Diagon Alley, but there is a smaller branch in Hogsmeade .

Honeydukes

Honeydukes is one of the famous attractions in Hogsmeade. It is a sweet shop famous for its chocolate and many wonderfully wild sweets. It also houses the entrance to a secret passageway to Hogwarts. When Harry Potter wasn't able to go to Hogsmeade, Fred and George Weasley gave him the Marauder's Map, which showed Harry the location of a secret passage between Hogwarts and the basement of Honeydukes. It is loved by teachers and students alike.

Azkaban

Azkaban is a wizarding prison located on an island in the middle of the North Sea. Presumably, this prison is only used by magical Britain, as there are other wizarding prisons elsewhere such as Nurmengard. Using certain Charms, the prison is hidden from the muggle world, and is unplottable. It is widely regarded as a horrible place, given that its guards, Dementors, cause great suffering to those in their proximity. Most prisoners eventually go insane, and slowly die away.

Weasley's Wizards and Wheezes

Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes is a joke shop in Diagon Alley owned by Fred and George Weasley. It sells practical joke objects, such as Extendable Ears, a Reusable Hangman, and Fred and George's special WonderWitch products, such as Love Potions, ten-second pimple remover, and Pygmy Puffs. There is also a section of Muggle magic tricks "for freaks like Dad", which are said to do steady business, despite not being big sellers.

Shrieking Shack

The Shrieking Shack is an abandoned house in Hogsmeade. For many years, villagers thought it was haunted because they often heard screams coming from inside, and Albus Dumbledore encouraged the rumour, as he was the one who commissioned it, due to Remus Lupin's Lycanthropy. According to Nearly Headless Nick, not even the Hogwarts ghosts will enter it.

The Shrieking Shack's entrance from the Hogwarts Grounds is the base of the Whomping Willow. The trick is to poke the knot in the trunk, which stops the tree hitting anyone. One way to do this is to to either use a long stick or get Crookshanks (Hermione’s cat) to do it. The secret passageway can be seen on the Marauder's map.
